About me
Hi! My name is Szymon Acedański.
I’m a PhD student at the Institute of Informatics, University of Warsaw. My research specialty is Natural Language Processing, especially morphosyntactic tagging and deep parsing. I also work with the Linguistic Engineering Group at the Polish Academy of Sciences, in projects related to my research interests.
I also teach advanced software engineering classes at University of Warsaw, a lecture on Programmable Logic (FPGA, CPLD) and the Networking course.
I support the Polish Children’s Fund which is a wonderful volunteer-based organization helping gifted young to pursue excellence in their fields, ranging from arts to science. I’m the technical director of the Polish Olympiad in Informatics, which helps hich school students as well.
I like photography and sailing, if it’s not too cold.
